WHEN LEAK IS INSIDE OF A BUILDING: - Can the leak be heard. If yes, do the following:
- Turn off gas supply at the tank.
- Do NOT turn light switches on or off.
- Open all windows and doors.
- Stay out of the building until serviceman arrives.
IF LEAK CANNOT BE HEARD: - Is odor all over the building or in just one room?
- Are appliance pilots still burning?
- What gas appliances are in the building?
IF PILOTS ARE BURNING: - Turn off gas supply at the tank.
- Do NOT turn light switches on or off.
- Open all windows and doors until smell of gas is gone.
- Wait until serviceman arrives.
ALL GAS LEAKS ARE SERIOUS AND TAKE PRIORITY OVER ALL OTHER SERVICE WORK. THE MORE INFORMATION THE CUSTOMER CAN PROVIDE
THE GREATER CHANCE THE SERVICEMAN WILL HAVE IN PREPARING FOR THE REPAIR.
